Debbie (Registered Dental Hygienist) has been with the practice since October 1989. She has enjoyed developing long-term relationships with her patients, helping them achieve optimal periodontal health. The best part of her day is getting caught up with each patient about the happenings of the previous months. How was the vacation? Is the school year going well for the kids? How’s work? Along with Dr. Arita, she is our resident exercise nut, who enjoys running, yoga, biking, skiing, pilates, and weight lifting. In September, she completed her first triathlon. Her daughter is the light of her life. She brings a gentle touch and warm smile to the dental room.
One of the best parts of having dental work done at Dr. Arita’s office is being in Dina’s (Registered Dental Assistant) capable hands. With 26 years of experience behind her, she can deftly take you through any procedure with comfort and ease, all while entertaining you with stories about gardening, cooking, or Isabelle, her adorable Shitzu-Poodle. Recently, Dina has decided to do her part for the environment by riding the bus to work two days a week. Now we can’t wait to hear the interesting tales she shares about the new people she meets. Dina’s generosity of spirit extends beyond the dental office. She donates her time to help others in need, whether it’s doing yard duty at St. Lucy, visiting an elderly church member, serving up food in the soup kitchen, or tending to a sick friend. Dina brings joy to all who know her and we are lucky to have her in our office.
Kirsten (Registered Dental Hygienist) has been practicing dental hygiene since June 1995, and has been with Dr. Arita since November 1999. She loves what she does and takes pride in her roles, which include providing clinical and therapeutic dental hygiene services, periodontal management and maintenance, and patient education. Kirsten is an avid sports enthusiast and experienced triathlete. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and running. Her weekends are delightfully spent with her husband, two children, and their frisky dogs, Rooster and Aspen. The whole family enjoys dirtbiking and camping.
